   Trash Talk!

Meet the Group Coordinator!

Trash Talk.jpg

"Trash Talk" has only one goal. Our goal is to bring City Council representatives, Mayors, civic leaders, and the German Town community to keep this city clean and safe. My love for Philadelphia and German Town itself grew the more I felt responsible to beautify it.

Through "Trash Talk" and other service opportunities, I hope to create a bridge between different community programs, neighbors, and civic leaders. We don’t want just leaders; we want neighbors, friends, and families to come together. Trash Talk has already started some projects in a section of German Town where illegal dumping was taking place. However, the mission is not over yet. There is more to do! I hope for Trash Talk to become a catalyst to raise interest and passion towards taking care of our city".

This community roundtable brought together local businesses, neighbors, and activists that were passionate about keeping Germantown a safe and clean neighborhood. We had guest speakers like Men Who Care and community members share their experiences in fighting illegal dumping.

We invited neighbors and friends from Germantown to clean up the intersection of Lena and Armat St. This community day was joined by local and neighboring organizations like Men Who Care and Origins Cut. Free food and free haircuts were provided as we beautified Germantown.
